The Law Offices of Christopher A. Coluccio PLLC is a friend, advisor, and advocate for business leaders, representing over the years a large variety of companies in many industries. The industries have included construction companies, suppliers, retail businesses, technology companies, real estate developers, and commercial landlords and tenants.
Deal-Maker and Resolution Advocate, Litigation. In business, issues arise on a frequent basis. Chris and his team work hard to resolve distracting issues and get the client back focused on their business and operations. Chris has put together many multi-million-dollar contracts in the areas of real estate, construction, and other areas. Often, he will assemble a team of professionals in the areas of finance, tax, insurance, engineering, technology, and other unique fields to work for the common goal of supporting the client. When disputes arise, litigation is an option, and in such a case, Chris will often assemble a team of experienced litigators and experts for court-related matters. However, often it is more cost efficient, relationship-preserving, and economical to settle the matter in person, through mediation or through an alternative dispute resolution process, such as binding arbitration. Chris discusses all options with the client and he and the client can set an appropriate course of action.
Business and Real Estate Law. Chris drafts and develops corporate and limited liability company documents, agreements, plans and operational strategies for his business clients. He is a trusted advisor to business on issues when they arise, including real estate transactions, commercial leases, condemnation / eminent domain proceedings, licensing, insurance, vendor disputes, joint ventures, partnering, and other matters. He works with all types of professions and both private and governmental entities in his work. For current clients, he is one call away from supplying important advice and leadership for their situation.
Construction Law. Chris has a substantial background not only in construction law, but also in the industry itself. His family has been in the construction business since the 1950s, focusing on underground construction, tunneling, and surface construction. Chris has drafted, enforced and defended complex construction agreements, and delt with a variety of legal matters and disputes in his practice. These include large claims between contractors, subcontractors, vendors and owners, complex bid protests, bonding issues, insurance, liens, contractor qualification matters, minority and woman enterprise programs, and public and private works projects.
